Good points of Windows

     Well, this is the first time for me to use an idea from Cocolog. In short, I borrowed a theme for this column.

     I've mainly used windows for about11 years. But I also have some experience to use other Operation Systems, Macintosh and Linux so I'll compare briefly.

     When we compare Windows to Mac, one advantage of Windows is task-bar. We can view all the programs working in front at a glance. When I used Mac and minimized a window, it shrank and went into the Dock. Well, Dock is very cool in terms of appearance and I use it on my Windows Vista, but at first it was hard to tell minimized window and application shortcut.

     Another point is security. I sometimes hear that Windows are dangerous compared to Mac in that Win is threatened by Viruses and Spy-wares. Those who support this may say, in that point Mac is better. But is it true? I doubt that because Windows is more secure all the more its weakness. Windows is always under the threat of invasion by malicious programs and hackers, therefore we need security soft such as Norton, Virus Baster, McAfee and Kaspersky. These programs have developed thanks to the weakness of Windows and it means all we have to do now is to install one of them. What I want to say is that Windows is secure in that most security vendor provide security softwares and firewalls.
